This morning we used the next door neighbor’s
electricity to charge our laptop while they ran their generator.
Janis and Bill are in an Airstream (they used to have a Casita) and are from Georgetown, Texas. After breakfast we
went to visit a couple in a Casita who are camping at Heaton Lake
campground. Don had done a neat mod by mounting a solar panel on the back of their Casita -- it doubles as an awning. When they travel they remove it and store it under their bed. Then we went to the annual
Summit County Seniors Rummage Sale. Then we went to look at the nearby campground that has electricity to see if we could
move there on Sunday for a few days to build up the charge in the Casita
battery. On the way we stopped at
Sapphire Point Overlook. Afterward we
drove into Dillon and walked around a market and I bought a gift to send to my
great niece for her soon to be son.
Then we went to Starbucks to update the blog and to Dillon Dam Brewery for a beer.
