9/17/16 - Midway RV Park, Dexter, NM

We drove to Dexter, NM (near Roswell) and got a site for the night.  Nearing Roswell, Jim’s MP3 player with about 7,000 songs on it randomly started playing Brave Combo’s “I Want to See a Flying Saucer”.  Coincidence?  After setting up the trailer we drove into Artesia.  Just as we were parking for The Wellhead Brewery, it started to hail on us.  Jim backed out and we found a bank drive through to park in along with about 6 other vehicles.  We stayed there for nearly an hour while it rained and hailed.  Just west of us a tornado touched down and the hail was baseball size.  When the weather let up we went to the Wellhead Brewery and on the way back to Roswell we stopped at Desert Water Brewing.
