9/19/16 - 9/24/16 - Garner State Park, Leakey, TX

We arrived at Garner State Park for the Fall Traveling Rally.  This rally is held every year in a different Texas state park. We will be here until Sunday morning.  This post will be for 6 days. 

9/19/16
After setting up we walked around camp to talk to the people who were already here.  Then we took a walk.  At 9:30 we went to Deb’s site and sat around to talk.

9/20/16
We went for a walk and stopped in at the park gift shop.  Most everyone went out for lunch and we went to the river to relax and cool off.  We watched more people come in today.  Around 8pm we went to visit with friends in camp.

9/21/16

I fixed oatmeal for breakfast this morning.

9/22/16 
Jim fixed breakfast sandwiches this morning then he went with Bill to hike and hunt for geocaches.  I cleaned the Casita while he was gone.  Tonight was chili night at camp then Jim went to watch the Texans game with Keith and Beverly while I watched some TV in the Casita.

9/23/16: Jim went with Bill and Rob to hike Old Baldy.  After he returned we went into Leakey to the Family Dollar and to the Hardware store.  On the way back in, we parked near the office and Jim updated the blog and we checked email.  This afternoon we went back to the Frio and tonight was grill night at camp.

9/24/16
Jim made waffles and then we picked up trash in our camp to get a special event listing for geocaching.  Deb Gamble made a stop by the Casita and gave us a hot pad holder for use in the microwave when using a bowl.  Eighteen of us went to the Laurel Tree in Utopia for lunch today.  They have a tree house built by the HGTV tree house builders that you can reserve for lunch or supper.  Tonight was pot luck night.  This is the last night for this Fall Traveling Rally.
