9/25/16 - Marathon Motel & RV Park, Marathon, TX

After hooking up and dumping, we stopped at the office for wi-fi before leaving camp.  We stopped at WalMart in Del Rio and then continued on to Marathon.  It rained all day while we were driving. We got a site at the RV park where our friends usually stay when they are in this area.  It is owned by a friend of theirs and it was in our half price camping club.  They have a really nice common patio area with a fire pit, fireplace and a water fountain.  We walked into town and went to the Gage Hotel’s White Buffalo Bar & Grill.  We sat and talked with Danny Self, the owner of the RV park where we are staying and the friend of our friends.
